Care of the Elderly is Our Priority: Our focus is on providing exceptional care for the elderly. As an Enrolled Nurse, you'll play a vital role in ensuring their well-being, comfort, and safety. Utilize your skills in medication administration, wound care, and other specialized areas to make a meaningful difference in their lives.
Essential skills and competencies:
- Teamwork with colleagues
- Friendly and positive personality
- Clinical care - medication rounds, wounds care etc.
- Liaising with visiting GP's and allied health providers
- Lead and supervise as required Carers (with some personal care duties with the team where required)
- Excellent interpersonal communication and customer service skills
- Bachelor of Nursing
- Computer and documentation skills
- Demonstrated practice of Hygiene and Safety practices in aged care
- Current police check
Desirable Experience and Qualifications:
- Work experience of 2 years in Age Care.
- A good understanding of the Aged Care Standards, accreditation and ACFI requirements
- An understanding of continuous improvement and OH&S;
