Job Description
Pathways Program Coordinator & Student and Trainer Support Officer

We are seeking an organised, proactive, and people-focused Pathways Program Coordinator &Student; and Trainer Support Officer to join our Canberra & Online Campus team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys supporting students, coordinating educational programs, building relationships with schools and industry partners, and contributing to a positive and engaging campus environment.

In this position, you will undertake and help coordinate the following work as part of the Canberra & Online Campus team:
/n
Key Responsibilities
/n
/n
- Coordinating pathway programs including VET in Schools, work experience programs, holidaycourses, beginner workshops, and short courses
/n
- Supporting the promotion, administration, and growth of pathway programs
/n
- Building and maintaining relationships with schools, industry partners, and communitystakeholders
/n
- Providing administrative and pastoral support to students throughout their learningjourney
/n
- Supporting student engagement, attendance, progression, and successful outcomes
/n
- Providing administrative and coordination support to trainers and teaching staff
/n
- Assisting with staff onboarding, training coordination, and professional developmentactivities
/n
- Supporting day-to-day campus operations, including scheduling, resource coordination,
andfacilities management
/n
- Maintaining accurate student, academic, and administrative records
/n
- Assisting with marketing activities, student recruitment initiatives, school outreachprograms, and industry engagement events
/n
- Working collaboratively with National Administration, Admissions, Finance, and Leadership teams
/n
- Supporting compliance requirements, quality assurance activities, and organisationalpolicies and procedures
/n/n
Essential Skills and Knowledge
/n
/n
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail and the ability tomanage competing priorities
/n
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
/n
- Experience in administration, education support, student services, program coordination,or a similar role
/n
- Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, schools, and externalstakeholders
/n
- Experience maintaining accurate records and administrative systems
/n
- Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively within a team environment
/n
- Initiative, problem-solving ability, and a willingness to learn current systems and processes
/n
- A genuine commitment to providing exceptional student support and customer service
/n
- Confidence using Microsoft Office 365, particularly Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams
/n
- Ability to work effectively with students from diverse social and cultural backgrounds
/n
- Experience within the Vocational Education and Training (VET) and/or Higher Education sectors
/n
- Experience coordinating pathway, outreach, engagement, or community programs
/n
- Knowledge of student support, wellbeing, or pastoral care practices
/n
- Knowledge of the VET Quality Framework, CRICOS, state funding programs, or other education compliance requirements
/n
- Proficiency in student management systems, preferably aXcelerate, including student enrolment, record management, reporting, and compliance-related administration
/n
- Proficiency in learning management systems, preferably Canvas, including course administration, content management, learner support, and monitoring student engagement and progress
/n
- Relevant tertiary qualification in education, administration, business, student services, or a related field
/n
- Interest in games, animation, film, visual effects, or creative industries
/n/n
Please note:

- This is a full-time with a 5-month probation period
/n
- Salary is negotiable based on skills and experience
/n
- A current Police Check or Working With Children's Check is required
/n/n
