Casual Machine Operator – Food Production (2 Days Per Week)

We are a long-established wholesale food manufacturer seeking a reliable and practical Machine Operator to join our production team.

/n

This is a long-term casual position working 2 regular weekday shifts per week, with occasional additional shifts as production requires.

/n

The successful applicant will be trained to operate a traditional pastry machine and assist with general food production duties. Previous experience operating machinery is an advantage, however full training will be provided to the right person.

- Operate a food production machine (full training provided)

- Set up and clean production equipment

/n

- Assist with food production and general factory duties

/n

- Maintain quality and food safety standards

/n

- Work as part of a small production team

/n/n

About you

/n

- Reliable, punctual and hardworking

/n





- Physically fit and comfortable with manual work

/n

- Comfortable standing for extended periods

/n

- Mechanically minded with a willingness to learn

/n

- Experience operating machinery, manufacturing equipment or working in food production is preferred but not essential

/n

- Looking for a stable, long-term casual position

/n/n

This role may particularly suit someone seeking consistent part-time work, including someone easing into semi-retirement, although applications are welcome from anyone with the right attitude and work ethic.
