Aurukun Primary Health Care Centre is seeking a Clinical Nurse to join their team in Aurukun, Queensland on a 12-week contract from 7 September to 29 November 2026. This is an excellent opportunity to deliver primary health care in a remote community setting, working across acute care and preventative health. The role offers a competitive hourly rate of AUD76.50 to AUD81.50, with the chance to make a real difference in a primary health workplace.

Preferred Requirements

- Minimum 5 years' experience in acute care settings




- Current Advanced Life Support (ALS) and Paediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications
- Triage qualification and demonstrated first-on-call experience
- Medical Emergency Committee (MEC) and Research Ethics Committee (REC) knowledge or experience
- Manual driver's licence (highly desirable)

Preferred Qualifications

- Registered Nurse qualification with current AHPRA registration
- Formal training or certification in primary health care nursing
- Experience in remote or rural health service delivery
