Job Title: Project Manager (Remediation)
Location: Melbourne
Employment Type: Full time Contract
Contract Length: 12 months

Summary

Opportunity to join a leading financial services organization to deliver end-to-end complex enterprise initiatives and critical remediation projects. This role will support project delivery from inception to completion, driving outcomes that align with strategic business objectives, ensuring strict regulatory compliance, and managing high-priority day-to-day remediation workflows to safeguard stakeholder and member outcomes.

**PLEASE NOTE - This role is Melbourne-based & is not suitable to any candidates located outside this area / Additionally, this role requires remediation experience, those without demonstrated experience on their CV/Cover Letter will not be considered**
Key Criteria

Demonstrated experience in end-to-end Project Management within the financial services, superannuation, fund management, or custodian sectors.

Proven experience leading complex projects, system implementations, regulatory changes, and remediation projects.

Strong Agile ceremony facilitation skills and deep practical knowledge of Agile delivery methodologies.

Proficiency in project management frameworks, including Agile, PMBOK, or Prince2.

Formal project management certification (e.g., PMP, Prince2 Practitioner, Certified Agile Leader) or equivalent professional experience.

Exceptional interpersonal, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Key Responsibilities





Lead and manage end-to-end delivery of individual or concurrent financial services and remediation projects within established project management frameworks.

Drive day-to-day remediation activities and technical project workflows to address operational gaps, systemic issues, or regulatory requirements.

Facilitate regular Agile ceremonies and maintain momentum across delivery teams to achieve project milestones.

Define and maintain project scope, schedules, and budgets, managing scope changes and operational risks to protect BAU operations.

Manage key external and internal deliverables across vendors, systems, and outsourced arrangements.

Collaborate closely with Change Management teams to ensure smooth adoption of project outcomes and minimal disruption.

Maintain project oversight and reporting in alignment with organizational risk management frameworks.

Provide coaching, direction, and mentorship to build capability within the project team.
