Moranbah Hospital is seeking experienced Registered Nurses to join its Emergency Department on a six-week contract from 21 September to 1 November 2026. Based in regional Queensland, this is an opportunity to bring your rural and emergency nursing expertise to a busy healthcare setting. The role offers up to 80 hours per fortnight on a rotating roster of 8- and 12-hour shifts, with remuneration between AUD$55.65 and AUD$70.82 per hour.

Preferred Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in rural nursing and emergency department practice
- Proficiency with Queensland Health systems, including ieMR, FirstNet,
PowerChart, and HBCIS
- Solid clinical assessment and decision-making skills in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work flexibly across rotating shifts and manage competing priorities
- Experience within QLD Health or Mackay Health and Hospital Service is desirable
Preferred Qualifications
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
- Current Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification or willingness to obtain
- Post-graduate qualification in Emergency Nursing or equivalent clinical experience in emergency settings
