We are partnering with a growing accounting firm that is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their team. This is an opportunity for an experienced accounting professional based in Brisbane, offering the autonomy to manage your own portfolio while working closely with Partners and a collaborative team.

The Role

- Manage a portfolio of SME clients across a variety of industries.
- Prepare and review financial statements and tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts and partnerships.
- Prepare and review BAS, IAS and other compliance requirements.
- Provide proactive tax advice and business advisory support.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients as their key point of contact.
- Identify opportunities to add value through planning and advisory services.
- Assist with complex accounting and taxation matters.
- Mentor and support junior team members where required.

About You





- 5+ years' experience in Australian public practice accounting and preferably CA/CPA qualified
- Solid experience across Business Services and Tax.
- Confident managing your own client portfolio.
- Strong technical knowledge of Australian accounting and taxation requirements.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build trusted client relationships.
- Experience with cloud-based accounting systems such as Xero, MYOB, APS, or similar.
