Position Descriptor:
The Wellbeing Services Officer (WSO) contributes to the Wellbeing Services delivery model at Nuriootpa High School. The WSO supports disengaged students in their social and emotional wellbeing, encouraging their continued connection with school through a range of identified strategies. The WSO ensures appropriate options and interventions are identified and utilised, in line with Department and School procedures, to provide positive experiences for students, which result in the overall enhancement of their wellbeing and successful engagement with learning and schooling. Please note the salary amount may differ from that advertised. Salary is dependent upon your current employment status with the Department for Education, tenure and hours per week. The salary stated is based on an employee working 52 weeks per annum, full time equivalent.
