The Role We're seeking experienced Theatre and Perioperative Registered Nurses for contracts across the Hunter New England region.
Opportunities may be available across a variety of perioperative specialties, including:
- Scrub / Instrument / Scout
- Anaesthetics
- Recovery / PACU
- Anaesthetic Nursing
- Endoscopy
- Day Surgery
- Perioperative Admissions / Surgical Admissions
- Pre-operative and Post-operative care
- Circulating / Theatre Nursing
- Procedure Rooms
- Emergency Theatre / Trauma
- Specialty surgical services, depending on the facility
You'll work as part of established multidisciplinary theatre teams, providing safe,
high-quality patient care throughout the perioperative journey. Contracts may offer exposure to a range of surgical specialties and clinical environments, depending on your experience and the requirements of each facility.

Requirements
- Current unrestricted AHPRA registration
- Minimum two years' recent Registered Nurse experience
- Recent Theatre/Perioperative experience in one or more relevant areas
- Experience in Scrub/Scout, Anaesthetics, Recovery/PACU or another perioperative specialty
- Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary theatre teams
- Flexibility to adapt to different hospitals, teams and clinical environments
- Relevant mandatory competencies and compliance documentation
