The Chance:

Wyong Hospital is seeking experienced ED CMOs to join its Emergency Department team.

You will provide acute assessment, treatment, and coordination of patient care across a broad spectrum of presentations, working both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

On-call is not required for most shifts, with rostered blocks available to suit your schedule.

Clinical Environment:

- Deliver emergency care across a range of presentations, including trauma and high-acuity cases
- Collaborate with ED specialists, registrars, nurses, and allied health professionals
- Gain experience in a busy coastal hospital with strong protocols and resources
- Work in a supportive environment that values clinical judgment, leadership, and patient safety

Eligibility Criteria:

- MBBS or equivalent with current (or eligible) AHPRA registration - minimum Level 2 supervision
- Aus/NZ/Competent Authority Pathway: Minimum 4 postgraduate years, including 12 months in an Australian ED as Trainee/CMO/SRMO
- Standard Pathway:



Minimum 6 postgraduate years, including 2 years in an Australian ED as Trainee/CMO/SRMO
- Ability to work independently within a supervised environment
- Strong clinical skills, communication, leadership, and teamwork abilities
- Australian working rights

Location - Wyong, NSW:

Located on the Central Coast, Wyong offers a mix of coastal beaches, national parks, and a relaxed community feel, while being within easy reach of Sydney and Newcastle.
