Port Augusta Hospital and Regional Health Service is seeking Emergency Medicine Specialists / FACEMs / VMOs to provide senior clinical coverage and leadership in their Emergency Department.
The hospital plays a central role in rural and remote health care delivery across the Flinders and Upper North region.
Clinical Environment:
- Consultant-led team with RMO/Registrar support
- Manage emergency cases across adult, paediatric, and procedural presentations
- Participate in resus, escalation, and site leadership when rostered in charge
- Influence rural health outcomes in a high-need community
Eligibility Criteria:
- AHPRA Specialist Registration
- Fellowship with ACEM or equivalent
- Recent experience in regional or rural ED settings preferred
- SA Health credentialing and e-learning required
