Leasing Property Lawyer – Real Estate & Development | 3–4 years PQE | Sydney CBD.

Join a busy property division acting across institutional leasing, major development work, off-the-plan sales and broader real estate transactions.

- Salary of $120,000–$150,000
- Institutional leasing work across major real estate assets
- Exposure to developers, funds, REITs, superannuation funds and listed property groups
- Mentoring from senior lawyers within a well-resourced property team
- Broader development work from project inception through to completion
- Sydney CBD office environment with clear expectations and structured client service standards

About the role

You’ll work closely with the Real Estate & Development team and report to the Divisional Leader, taking responsibility for files while supporting overflow work as needed.

- Act on leasing matters involving shopping centres, commercial office towers, industrial estates, logistics and distribution centres and build-to-rent developments
- Assist institutional clients including property funds, REITs, super funds, listed property groups, large developers and government or quasi-government entities
- Work on off-the-plan sales and allocated development projects
- Draft correspondence, property documents, comparison tables, precedents and e-alerts
- Liaise with clients, solicitors, conveyancers, banks and internal team members
- Support due diligence, acquisitions, subdivisions, site access, leasing and settlement-related work where required
- Manage KPIs, time recording, billing, collections, WIP and client care standards

Requirements

You’ll be a leasing-focused property lawyer who enjoys responsibility, detail and commercial client service.

- 3–4 years PQE in property law
- Genuine institutional leasing experience
- Bachelor of Laws or equivalent and current practising certificate
- Strong drafting, research and communication skills
- Ability to manage files, deadlines and competing priorities
- Confidence building client relationships
- Initiative, reliability, accuracy and discretion
- MS Office capability, with Practice Evolve experience advantageous
- Diploma in Conveyancing or interstate property experience would be a bonus
