The role: Social Media Coordinator

The location: RATIONALE Kyneton HQ

Join RATIONALE’s Marketing Team and bring our brand to life across social through elevated, engaging and social-first content.

Reporting to the Content Manager, you’ll take ownership of the day-to-day execution of RATIONALE’s social channels from creating and editing content and writing copy, through to publishing, community engagement and performance reporting.

- Own the day-to-day execution of RATIONALE’s organic social channels, including Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn

- Create engaging social-first content, capturing and editing short-form video, imagery, behind-the-scenes moments, events and brand experiences

- Write compelling, brand-aligned copy across captions, Stories, Reels and other social formats

- Plan, manage and maintain the social content calendar, ensuring activity is aligned with broader Marketing and product priorities

- Bring fresh creative ideas to the table, identifying relevant social trends, formats and cultural moments for RATIONALE

- Capture content across RATIONALE Flagships, events, activations, shoots and other key brand moments

- Manage publishing and community engagement, working with Client Service to ensure questions and enquiries are responded to appropriately

- Monitor social performance and audience behaviour, using insights to continually evolve and optimise content

- Support campaigns, launches, partnerships, PR and events with timely and engaging social content

- Collaborate closely across Marketing, Education, Retail and other teams to uncover stories and create content that brings the world of RATIONALE to life

ABOUT YOU

You’re a creative and highly organised social media professional who understands what makes great content and loves being hands-on in bringing it to life.

- Previous experience in social media, content or marketing

- A natural content creator who is confident filming, capturing and editing social-first video and imagery

- Strong copywriting skills with an excellent eye for detail and tone of voice

- Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and LinkedIn, including platform trends, formats and best practice

- A strong visual eye and appreciation for luxury, beauty and premium brand presentation

- Comfortable working with video and image editing tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, Canva or similar

- Able to manage a busy content calendar and multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail

- Curious and culturally connected, with a genuine interest in social trends and emerging content formats

- Comfortable interpreting social performance metrics and using insights to improve future content

- Proactive, collaborative and solutions-focused, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability

- Experience within beauty, luxury, fashion, lifestyle or another premium consumer brand is highly regarded
