Casual | Fortnightly Friday Commitment | Opportunity to Make a Real Impact
We are currently seeking experienced Paediatric Registered Nurses to join our specialised rare disease clinical program in Adelaide. This is a unique opportunity to support patients and families living with complex, ultra-rare conditions while maintaining flexibility around your existing commitments.
Why This Role?
This is not your typical paediatric nursing role. You'll be part of a small, supportive team providing high-quality care to children in the community. Your work will directly contribute to improving health outcomes for families navigating the rare disease space.
What You'll Be Doing
- Providing safe, compassionate nursing care to paediatric patients in an in-home setting
- Setting up and administering infusions
- Accessing ports and managing vascular access as required
- Educating and supporting patients and families
- Accurately completing clinical documentation and reporting
About You
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
- Current AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse
- Paediatric nursing experience
- Experience and competency accessing ports and cannulation
- Current paediatric BLS
- Solid communication and family-centred care skills
- A warm, adaptable nature with the ability to work autonomously
Availability Requirements
- Ability to commit to full-day shifts (approximately 8 hours) on Fridays
- Visits occur every second Friday
- Reliable transport and ability to travel to patient homes
What's on Offer
- Regular fortnightly work with a predictable schedule
- Competitive casual hourly rate
- The opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and their families
- A supportive and highly specialised clinical program
Apply now – we'd love to speak with nurses who are passionate about paediatric care and can commit to full-day availability on Fridays.
