Plumber

Location: Maitland & Upper Hunter Region, NSW
Salary: $50 per hour

Our client is a leading facilities maintenance provider delivering services across commercial, government, and educational facilities throughout the Hunter Valley. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a trade qualified Plumber to join their team

As the sole dedicated plumber, you will take ownership of plumbing works while also supporting the broader building maintenance team with general maintenance tasks as required.

This role offers variety, autonomy, and genuine career progression, with the opportunity to help establish and lead a future plumbing division. Ideal for a hands on professional who enjoys a mix of plumbing and maintenance work, values customer service, and is looking for a long term opportunity with a growing business.

Key Responsibilities

- Carry out plumbing maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
- Troubleshoot and rectify plumbing faults.
- Perform Backflow Prevention and TMV servicing.
- Operate CCTV and high-pressure jetting equipment.
- Complete job documentation and safety requirements.
- Support the broader maintenance team with general building maintenance activities.
- Maintain a high standard of customer service and site presentation.
- Adhere to all WHS policies, procedures, and site requirements.

Skills & Experience

- Current Plumbing Licence.
- Current NSW Driver Licence.
- White Card.
- Experience with Backflow Prevention and TMV systems.
- Experience operating CCTV and high pressure jetting equipment.




- Robust troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and manage your workload effectively.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Reliable, professional, and safety focused.
- Current First Aid Certificate.
- Experience in facilities maintenance environments.
- Gas leak detection experience.
- Roofing experience.

Additional Requirements

- Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain one).
- National Police Check (or willingness to undergo one).
- Ability to complete client and site specific inductions.
