Project Manager – Design, Exhibitions & Fitouts

DNA Design is a creative design studio and fabrication business delivering high-quality exhibition stands, brand activations and commercial fitouts. We work across the events and exhibition industry, combining design thinking with practical construction expertise to bring ideas to life.
As we continue to grow, we are looking for a highly organised and proactive Project Manager to support our team and strengthen the way we manage client communication, timelines and internal workflows.
About the Role
The Project Manager will play a key role in keeping projects on track from concept through to delivery. You will act as the link between clients, designers, workshop and installation teams — ensuring clear communication, organised scheduling and smooth project flow.
This is a fast-paced role suited to someone who thrives in a creative production environment and enjoys balancing people, deadlines and detail.
Key Responsibilities
Client Communication
- Be a primary point of contact for clients
- Coordinate meetings, updates and approvals
- Manage expectations around timelines and deliverables
- Maintain qualified and responsive communication
Project Coordination
- Assist in developing and maintaining project schedules
- Track key milestones, deadlines and task allocations
- Coordinate internal scheduling with Operations Manager
Administration & Organisation
- Prepare project documentation and job folders
- Issue purchase orders and track supplier timelines
- Monitor budgets alongside management
- Support quoting and handover processes
- Maintain CRM and project management systems
About You
- Highly organised with strong time management skills
- Confident communicator (written and verbal)
- Calm under pressure and solution-focused
- Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with project management software (e.g. Zoho, Monday or similar)
- Experience in exhibitions, events, shopfitting or construction (preferred but not essential)
