The Role:

You’ll work in a specialist employment and industrial law environment with a strong reputation for preventive, high-quality problem solving. - Advise on employment law, industrial relations and workplace risk matters
- Assist with disputes, litigation and strategic advisory matters
- Draft and review employment contracts, workplace policies and related documentation
- Support investigations, disciplinary matters and sensitive workplace issues
- Work closely with senior lawyers while developing increasing autonomy over time
- Help deliver practical, commercially sound advice to a diverse client base

- Competitive salary of $120,000–$180,000 + super
- Structured career progression based on merit, not seniority

- 14 weeks’ paid parental leave at full pay or 28 weeks at half pay for eligible staff

Requirements

- 2 + PAE Experience in private practice within employment law, workplace relations or industrial relations
- Strong drafting, research and matter management skills
- A practical, commercially minded and client-focused approach
- Confidence working across advisory and contentious matters
- Strong communication skills and sound judgement
- A genuine interest in building your career in specialist workplace law
