Target Business Services Location: 2/186 Gipps Road, Gwynneville NSW 2500 Salary: $80,000 plus 12% superannuation Position: Full-time, Permanent Our client, Zaatar Coffee Pizza Pty Ltd trading as Mr Zaatar, is a well-established Lebanese restaurant and café located in Gwynneville, New South Wales.

The business has built a strong reputation for serving authentic Lebanese cuisine, including traditional Manoosh, Lebanese pizzas, wraps, coffee, breakfast items and freshly prepared meals for dine-in, takeaway and delivery customers. Committed to quality ingredients, traditional recipes and outstanding customer service, the business continues to attract a loyal customer base from across the Illawarra region. As customer demand and trading volumes continue to grow, the business is seeking an experienced and motivated Retail Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the restaurant.

This hands-on management position is responsible for supervising staff, coordinating front-of-house operations, maintaining exceptional customer service standards, managing stock and inventory, ensuring regulatory compliance and supporting the continued growth and profitability of the business. The successful applicant will possess excellent leadership, organisational and communication skills together with the ability to manage a busy hospitality environment while maintaining efficient store operations and a superior customer experience. Key Responsibilities

- Plan,



organise and coordinate the daily operations of the restaurant to achieve efficient and profitable business performance.
- Supervise, recruit, train and mentor front-of-house staff, customer service employees and shift supervisors to maintain high service standards.
- Allocate duties and monitor labour costs to maximise workforce productivity.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate the purchasing of food ingredients, beverages, packaging materials, coffee supplies and restaurant consumables.
- Liaise with suppliers to ensure the timely procurement of fresh ingredients and quality products.
- Ensure compliance with Food Standards Australia

New Zealand (FSANZ) requirements, food safety legislation, workplace health and safety regulations and company policies.

- Oversee third-party delivery operations to ensure timely order fulfilment and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor point-of-sale transactions, cash handling procedures, daily reconciliations and banking processes.
- Analyse sales performance, prepare operational reports and implement strategies to improve revenue, profitability and operational efficiency.
- Develop and implement local marketing initiatives, promotional campaigns and customer engagement activities to increase repeat business and strengthen brand awareness.




- Manage customer enquiries, feedback and complaints professionally, ensuring prompt resolution and high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Monitor business performance, identify operational improvement opportunities and implement initiatives that enhance efficiency, service quality and overall customer experience.

Qualifications and Experience Required

- Minimum Diploma in Retail Management, Business Administration, Hospitality Management or a related discipline.
- At least one year of relevant experience in a retail, hospitality or food service management role.
- Demonstrated experience supervising and leading teams within a fast-paced customer service setting.

Skills Required

- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent organisational, planning and time management skills.
- Sound knowledge of inventory control, purchasing and cost management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to monitor operational performance and implement improvements.
- Good understanding of food safety legislation, workplace health and safety requirements and hospitality compliance obligations.
