The foundations are strong and the finance team is experienced. What they want now is someone who can take ownership of the finance function, lead the team and help turn good financial information into better commercial decisions.

YOUR NEW ROLE

You will lead a finance team of 3 including a Finance Coordinator, Accounts Payable Officer and Finance Administrator. This is a hands-on role where you will work closely with the Managing Director and operational leaders to understand what's driving performance, where money is being made, where it's leaking and what the numbers mean for the decisions ahead.

You don't need to Power BI experience, what matters more is that you are curious, systems-minded and interested in finding smarter ways to report and give the leadership team clearer visibility over the business. You will be responsible for:

- Managing month-end and year-end close
- Preparing monthly management accounts, including P&L;, balance sheet and cash flow reporting
- Leading budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management
- Monitoring margins, costs, working capital and overall business performance
- Managing stock, inventory reporting, valuations and reconciliations
- Maintaining the fixed asset register and capital expenditure reporting
- Overseeing payroll for approximately 60+ employees
- Supporting operational leaders with financial modelling and commercial advice
- Assessing new projects, equipment purchases and business initiatives
- Using Business Central,



Power BI and other tools to create clearer visibility across sales, margins, cash flow, stock, expenses and operational performance

ABOUT YOU

You might already be a Finance Manager, or you could be a strong Management Accountant, Senior Accountant or Finance Business Partner ready to take ownership of a broader finance function and lead a team. Manufacturing experience would be useful, but it isn't essential. Power BI experience would also be a bonus, but again, it isn't a deal breaker.

What matters more is that you have solid accounting foundations, can operate independently and have the confidence to work closely with both operational and executive stakeholders.

We are also looking for:

- Robust month-end, management reporting, budgeting and forecasting experience
- Confidence interpreting financial results and turning them into practical commercial advice
- An understanding of cash flow, margins, costs and working capital
- The ability to lead a small team without needing to micromanage them
- Good systems capability and an appetite to improve how information is captured and reported
- Confidence learning new technology and systems
- A collaborative, practical and low-ego approach
- The willingness to get involved and understand how the broader business actually operates

AND THEN THERE'S THE FLEXIBILITY

Flexibility doesn't always have to mean working from home, there are a few ways this role can work. They are open to a 4 or 5 day work week and there is flexibility around start and finish times. The team generally starts between 7am and 8am and finishes between 3pm and 4pm.

This is predominantly an office-based role because the business genuinely values having the team together, particularly given the interaction between finance and operations.
