Solana Energy is looking for a qualified electrician to join our growing team.

We specialise in premium residential solar, battery and EV charging installations across Newcastle, the Hunter and Central Coast.

Whether you're already experienced in solar and batteries or you're an electrician looking to break into the renewable energy industry, we'd love to hear from you.

Solar and battery experience is preferred but not essential. We are willing to train and invest in the right electrician and will cover all required industry qualifications and accreditations.

What You'll Be Doing

- Install, test and commission residential and commercial solar PV systems.

- Install and commission battery storage systems and EV chargers.

- Conduct site assessments and identify electrical requirements.

- Perform fault finding, maintenance and repairs on existing systems.

- Ensure all installations comply with Australian Standards and industry best practices.

- Complete testing and commissioning documentation.

- Educate customers on the operation of their systems.

- Work closely with apprentices, roofers and fellow electricians.

- Contribute to continuous improvement and help maintain Solana's high standards of workmanship and customer service.

What We're Looking For

- Current NSW Electrical Licence.

- Strong electrical installation and fault-finding skills.

- Ability to work safely and efficiently.

- Great communication and customer service skills.





- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Valid driver's licence.

- Pride in producing quality work.

Highly Regarded

- SAA Solar Accreditation.

- Battery Accreditation.

- Solar and battery installation experience.

- Experience with EV charging systems.

Don't Have Solar Experience?

No problem.

- Manufacturer training and certifications.

- Ongoing technical support and mentoring.

All required training, qualifications and accreditations are fully paid for by Solana Energy.
