Supercharge is a leading wholesaler and retailer of batteries for applications such as automotive, commercial, marine and industrial. We are looking for a team member to be part of our QLD Team.
About the Job
This position will be reporting directly to the Warehouse Manager. You will be responsible for daily warehouse activities to ensure the efficient utilisation of facilities for storing and distributing raw material and finished goods and supervise a small team within our Yatala warehouse.

- Supervise and lead the team within the warehouse.
- Assist with all training for staff is completed as required and in time.
- Supervise the receiving and storing of material, equipment, merchandise and supplies.
- Arrange andcoordinate the prompt delivery of merchandise of the kind and amount ordered.
- Ensure that incoming material is inspected for conformity with order specifications and checked for defects.
- Arrange for return of defective material.
- Direct the planning and assignment of work for the most efficient use of personnel and equipment.
- Assist with training of warehouse employees and assist with recruitment and selection of such employees as required.
- Assist with periodic stocktake and special inventories and reconcile book inventories with physical counts.
- Develop and recommend improvements in office and warehouse practices to promote efficiency, faster service and lower costs.
- Liaising with suppliers.
- Work within the budget and operate within approved budget.
- Ensure activities comply with legal and ethical standards.
- Continuous improvements within the warehouse.
- Partake in ad hoc projects related to the warehouse.
About You
To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate the following competencies:
- Driver's License (Mandatory)
- Forklift License (Mandatory)
- Ability to manage and develop customer and staff relationships
- Preferably with previous experience in similar role.
- Strong desire to improve the business
