Key responsibilities include:

- Managing and controlling the daily retail operations of the Gelatissimo store to ensure efficient service and achievement of operational objectives.

- Determining product ranges, stock levels and customer service standards based on sales performance, seasonal demand and customer preferences.

- Selecting, training, rostering, supervising and evaluating the performance of retail staff.

- Monitoring gelato, beverages, packaging and other inventory levels and coordinating purchasing, supplier orders and inventory control.

- Monitoring sales, labour expenses, stock costs, wastage and other operating expenses against established budgets and financial targets.

- Overseeing point-of-sale operations, cash handling, banking, daily reconciliations and the maintenance of stock and financial transaction records.

- Implementing pricing, product display, promotional and local marketing activities in accordance with franchise and business requirements.

- Ensuring attractive product presentation, accurate product information and consistent customer service standards.

- Responding to customer enquiries, feedback and complaints and implementing measures to improve customer satisfaction.





- Planning staffing and stock requirements for weekends, public holidays, local events and periods of high customer traffic.

- Establishing and implementing operational procedures to improve sales, productivity, stock control and service efficiency.

- Ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety, food safety, hygiene, franchise and other applicable regulatory requirements.

- Safeguarding cash, stock, equipment and other business assets through appropriate security and loss-prevention procedures.

To be considered for this role, applicants should have:

- At least 1 year of relevant work experience in a similar retail management role (or part time equivalent).

- Hold at least a Diploma of Hospitality Management or an equivalent relevant qualification.

- Strong leadership and staff supervision skills

- Well-developed communication and customer service abilities

- Good organisational and problem-solving skills

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail and hospitality environment

- Sound understanding of stock control, sales performance and daily operational management
