Australian Naval Infrastructure Pty Ltd (ANI) is the owner, developer and manager of the Osborne Naval Shipyards, supporting the Commonwealth’s Naval Shipbuilding Plan. ANI is responsible designing, constructing and managing the shipyard infrastructure, including the new Nuclear-Powered Submarine Construction Yard to support the AUKUS program, and operating and maintaining common use facilities.

ANI plays a pivotal role in delivering Australia’s naval shipbuilding capability, contributing to one of the nation’s most significant and complex infrastructure programs. Based in Adelaide, our work underpins the future of naval shipbuilding through world-class infrastructure at Osborne.

ANI is seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to provide commercial leadership across major infrastructure projects at the Osborne Naval Shipyards. Reporting to the Commercial Director, you will work closely with the Project teams to manage commercial risk, contracts, procurement, claims and negotiations while ensuring strong governance and sound commercial outcomes.

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Provide commercial oversight and assurance across assigned infrastructure projects

- Manage contract administration, including progress claims, variations, delays, disputes and contractual correspondence

- Support procurement and contractor management through commercial review, negotiation and risk assessment

- Oversee commercial reporting, forecasting and the identification and mitigation of project risks

- Lead and mentor Contract Administrators and Senior Contract Administrators, building capability across the team

About You:

You will be a commercially astute infrastructure professional who can balance project delivery with strong governance and risk management. You will bring sound judgement,



confidence in complex negotiations and the ability to influence project teams, contractors and senior stakeholders.

You will also have:

- Extensive experience across infrastructure procurement, commercial management and project delivery

- Relevant professional qualifications and registration, or eligibility for registration with an appropriate Australian skilled body

- A strong track record across large-scale construction projects, including contract and contractor management

- Proven capability managing claims, variations, negotiations, disputes and complex contractual matters

- Sound commercial and financial judgement, with the ability to manage risk, forecasting and competing project priorities
