About the Role

Reporting directly to the Managing Director and forming part of the Senior Management Team, this newly created position will establish and manage the day-to-day HR function across the organisation. This is a true generalist leadership role that combines strategic influence with hands-on delivery. You will oversee recruitment, employee relations, HR systems and workforce initiatives while partnering closely with managers to support business growth and capability development. You will have the opportunity to build processes, improve HR practices and create a people function that supports Anchor Safe's continued expansion across Australia.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage the day-to-day HR function across the business
- Manage end-to-end recruitment across a wide range of operational and professional roles.
- Partner with leaders to identify workforce requirements and attract high-quality talent.
- Provide practical HR advice and support across employee relations,



performance management, conduct matters and workplace issues.
- Maintain and enhance HR systems and processes, including Employment Hero.
- Coordinate workers compensation and return-to-work activities where required.
- Maintain compliant employee records, policies, procedures and documentation.
- Contribute HR expertise to Senior Management discussions and business decision-making.
- Support organisational growth, workforce planning and future expansion initiatives.
- Collaborate with the WH&S; Manager on workforce, compliance and employee-related matters.

About You

To be successful, you will be a practical, commercially minded HR professional who enjoys balancing strategic involvement with hands-on execution. You are confident building relationships, influencing stakeholders and creating solutions that support both people and business outcomes.

You will bring:

- Demonstrated experience in a generalist HR, HR Manager, HR Business Partner or Senior HR Advisor role.
- Strong recruitment experience across operational, trade-based, industrial or technical workforces.
- Experience supporting employee relations and performance management matters.
- Working knowledge of Australian employment legislation and HR best practice.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.




- Strong organisational ability and the capacity to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience using Employment Hero or similar HR platforms.
- A proactive, energetic and solutions-focused approach.

Desirable

- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business or a related discipline.
- Payroll experience.
- Experience with workers compensation and return-to-work processes.
- Exposure to ISO or compliance-focused environments.
