Seeking an experienced short term casual (3-day week) Enrolled Nurse, Immediate commencement.

We are a very busy private practice specializing predominantly in varicose veins in East Melbourne. We are seeking an experienced Casual Enrolled Nurse, for immediate start.

Your duties will involve:

- Pre-procedure calls/post procedure calls as per protocol. Scouting for Doctor procedures;

- Patient set-up, including: completion of consent forms, taking and uploading of clinical photographs (learning the photographic system) and medical compression stocking measurements;

- Procedure set-up as per clinic guidelines;

- Post procedure patient education and assistance with compression stockings;

- Cleaning of equipment and reinstatement of treatment rooms post-procedure;

- Medical stock control - ordering and maintenance of medical supplies and stocking of treatment rooms;

- Co-ordination of patient flow;

- Ensuring upcoming patient appointments are appropriately booked according to their treatment plan.

- Triage and recall patients.

- Wound dressings as instructed.

Additional duties include;





- Help manage patient flow.

- Using Genie Medical Solutions software to: book patient appointments, invoice patients, process referrals and reschedule appointments (further training will be provided).

- Dual system digital and paper medical record system;

- Manual file preparation, manual scanning of paper files to the digital record;

- have positive and professional communication skills;

- be honest with a hardworking and positive attitude;

- be reliable and punctual;

- hold medication endorsement as an Endorsed Enrolled Nurse;

- possess current AHPRA registration;

- have a minimum of 3 years nursing experience;

- Preferable working days Tuesday, Wednesday and Fridays.

- To assist and cover/ relieve front desk staff and other staff as required.
