About the role
Malek Fahd Islamic School is seeking a passionate and dedicated Primary Teacher to join their dynamic team in Hoxton Park, NSW.

This is a temporary full-time position through to the end of Term 4, with the potential for extension. The successful candidate will be available to commence as soon as possible and demonstrate the ability to effectively teach a Year 3 class.

This role offers a rewarding opportunity to shape the education and development of young learners within a supportive, faith-based environment.

What you'll be doing

- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans that align with the NSW Curriculum

- Implement effective classroom management strategies to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment

- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and refine teaching resources and strategies

- Participate in professional development opportunities to continuously improve teaching practice

- Contribute to the broader life of the school community through extracurricular activities and events

What we're looking for

- Relevant teaching qualification and registration with the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)

- Demonstrated experience teaching in a primary school setting

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues

- Ability to differentiate instruction and cater to diverse learning needs

- Commitment to fostering a nurturing, values-based learning setting

- Enthusiasm for continual professional development and a willingness to contribute to the broader school community
