The Opportunity
Koppen Construction is seeking an experienced Pipe Layer to join our growing civil construction team.
Based in Cairns, you will work across a variety of civil construction projects throughout the region, contributing to the delivery of essential infrastructure within a skilled and supportive workforce.
What You'll Be Doing
- Installing and laying underground pipelines and associated infrastructure for water and wastewater
- Working alongside experienced civil construction crews
- Ensuring work is completed safely and to a high standard
- Contributing to a range of projects across multiple locations
- Supporting the successful delivery of civil construction works
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in pipelaying or related civil construction activities
- Strong work ethic with a reputation for being reliable and dependable
- Ability to adapt and work across a variety of projects and tasks
- Motivation to learn, develop, and progress your career
- Construction White Card
- Current driver's licence and reliable transport
- Certificate III in Civil Construction (Pipelaying) highly regarded but not essential
Additional Information
Successful applicants will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical assessment, including drug and alcohol testing.
As remote projects form a significant part of our operations, flexibility and willingness to travel for work is essential.
