Description

We are currently recruiting Machine Operators to join a busy food manufacturing facility in the Auburn / Regents Park area.

Position

- Casual
- Ongoing work
- AM and PM shifts available
- Monday to Friday
- 8-hour shifts

Duties

- Operate and monitor production and packing equipment
- Assist with machine setup and changeovers
- Troubleshoot basic machine faults
- Maintain production, quality and safety standards
- Complete production documentation
- Follow HACCP, GMP and workplace procedures

Requirements

- Previous experience operating production or packaging machinery
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to learn new equipment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Good communication skills
- Able to multitask and work calmly in a rapid-paced environment
- Unrestricted working rights in Australia (Working Holiday Visa accepted – No Student Visas)





Preferred but Not Essential

- Experience in food, beverage or pharmaceutical manufacturing
- Experience with packing automation equipment such as HMPS, Emrich or similar
- Experience operating equipment such as sealers, labellers, fillers, palletisers, vision systems or robotics
- General production experience and familiarity with HACCP and GMP
- Certificate II or III in Food & Beverage or Carton Packaging/Palletising

Training will be provided for suitable candidates with machine operating experience, technical aptitude and a willingness to learn.
