Description

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter (Mechanical Fitter) to join a busy food manufacturing facility in the Auburn / Regents Park area.

Position

- Afternoon Shift: 2:00pm – 10:00pm
- Monday to Friday
- 8+ hour shifts
- Afternoon shift loading applies

Responsibilities

- Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance on food processing equipment
- Diagnose faults and carry out repairs
- Complete maintenance records and follow site safety procedures
- Support continuous improvement and equipment reliability
- Work closely with the production team

Requirements

- Trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter (essential)
- Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably with automated production equipment
- Unrestricted working rights in Australia or Working Holiday Visa (No Student Visas)
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Positive communication skills and ability to work in a team
- Knowledge of workplace health and safety
- EWP, Confined Space and Forklift licences are highly desirable
