About the Role – Field Operator

MAXAM Australia is seeking a Field Operator to join our well-established blasting crew based at Ebenezer, QLD.

Reporting to the Site Supervisor, the Field Operator plays a critical role in supporting safe, productive, and high-quality blasting operations. This is a hands-on, physically demanding role, working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist with the safe and efficient delivery of day-to-day blasting services

- Loading and stemming of drill holes

- Handling and use of explosives in accordance with procedures and legislation

- Maintaining high standards of safety, environmental compliance, and housekeeping

- Working collaboratively as part of a site-based blast crew

- Adhering to all company, site, and regulatory requirements

Licences & Requirements

Ideally, you will hold or be willing to obtain:

- Open Manual Driver’s Licence (essential)

Due to the nature of the role, successful applicants must be able to:

- Pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening

- Meet all ongoing compliance and clearance requirements
