Banana Shire Council has an opportunity for experienced Rural Services Officer to join our team.

About the role:

As a part of a small hard working team, you will assist with the operations of stock routes and pest management within the Banana Shire.

About you:

- Cattle, horses and other livestock handling skills

- Excellent communicator

- Excels at working independently

- Focused on safety

- Demonstrated knowledge of applicable legislation (Desirable)

Your licences and qualifications:

- C Class manual drivers licence

- QLD General Safety Induction- White or blue card

- ACDC (Chemical Application) Certification Category A (Desirable)
