About the role

Watco is seeking a qualified full-time Locomotive Driver to operate intermodal freight services from our Metro Forrestfield depot (Perth, WA). This is a permanent full time role working rostered hours in accordance with the Watco WA Transportation Services Pty Ltd Enterprise Agreement 2023.

What you will do

- Operate Watco intermodal freight services.

- Comply with rail safety, HSEQ policies, and operating procedures.

- Participate in a 24/7 shift roster, including nights and weekends.

- Travel or work away from home when required.

What you will bring

- Current Locomotive Driver Qualification (Certificate IV – Transport and Logistics – Rail Operations or equivalent).

- Recent locomotive driving experience.





- Current manual Class C driver’s licence.

- Customer‑focused approach.

- Ability to pass a Category 1 Rail Medical and Drug and Alcohol Screen.

- Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency.
