Deliver exceptional customer service in all bar operations. Prepare and serve beverages responsibly and efficiently. Maintain a safe, clean and compliant bar environment.
Key responsibilities
- Provide friendly and professional service to members, guests and visitors.
- Process sales accurately through POS systems and handle cash in accordance with club procedures.
- Check identification and ensure responsible service of alcohol requirements are met.
- Maintain stock levels, replenish products and assist with stock rotation.
- Prepare, clean and reset bar areas, glassware and service stations.
- Respond to customer enquiries and escalate issues when required.
- Support club promotions, events and functions.
- Comply with the Registered Clubs Act, Liquor Act and Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)
requirements.
- Follow all Club policies, procedures and code of conduct.
- Report maintenance issues, hazards, incidents and near misses promptly.
About you
- Current RSA / RCG competency card.
- Previous experience working in a busy bar, club, hotel or hospitality venue.
- Robust communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends and public holidays.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and under pressure.
- Take reasonable care for personal safety and the safety of others.
- Use safe manual handling techniques and approved equipment.
