Mechanic

Our company is an Importer / Retailer of both heavy and light machinery and we currently seek to appoint a highly motivated Mechanic / Technician to join our Perth warehouse. With a widespread distribution across Australia to individuals and companies, our product range includes diesel generators, compressors, plate compactors and other industrial machinery.

The position is responsible for:

· assembly, testing and repair of machinery.

· experience with petrol and diesel engines

· experience as an auto electrical mechanic working with 12 Volt / 24 Volt

· Previous experience as a Diesel Technician or Mechanic working on Generators

· Solid mechanical ability essential

· A relevant trade qualification or certificate

· Knowledge of air-cooled diesel and petrol engines highly regarded

· Diesel Generator experience highly regarded but not essential





· Driver’s license

· Forklift Operator License

· Ability to work unsupervised and to demonstrate initiative

· A team player willing to help out with a variety of different tasks

· Excellent standards of quality control

You will be highly organized, reliable and physically fit and enjoy hands-on problem solving.

You will be joining a very friendly, successful business team where you will be required to work with minimal supervision therefore a mature, enthusiastic and hardworking attitude will be your biggest asset.

This position will be a full-time permanent position. Wages and benefits will be commensurate with experience.
