The Chance:

Senior Accountant / Supervisor: $100,000 – $130,000 plus super

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Accountant looking to further develop their career within business advisory and take the next step into a Senior Accountant or Supervisor position.

Reporting directly to a Director in the Sydney office, you will gain broad exposure to a diverse range of business services, taxation, and advisory matters. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working closely with clients, providing commercial advice, and taking ownership of challenging assignments.

The role will allow you to develop your technical expertise, strengthen your client relationships, and work closely with experienced professionals across the broader financial services offering.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage workflow for an enthusiastic team and ensure deadlines are met.
- Maintain strong client relationships and deliver a professional service that exceeds expectations.
- Provide a broad range of business advisory services, including restructuring, tax planning, and cash flow management.
- Prepare and review financial statements and tax compliance work.
- Manage tax compliance and reporting obligations for companies, trusts, partnerships, and individuals.
- Work on complex assignments and continue developing your technical knowledge.
- Identify opportunities to provide clients with additional services across the firm's broader financial services offering.




- Work closely with Directors and senior team members on client strategy and advisory matters.

Ideally, you’ll have:

- 4+ years of experience within a chartered accounting environment.
- Degree qualifications in accounting.
- CA qualified or close to completing CA.
- Strong tax knowledge across corporate, trusts, partnerships, and individual clients.
- Strong accounting skills and experience preparing financial statements.
- Commercially astute with strong business acumen and the ability to identify and manage risk.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to build rapport and develop strong client relationships.
- A proactive approach and genuine desire to exceed client expectations.
- Xero certification and a strong understanding of cloud accounting solutions.
