Join us as a Student Reporting Analyst and play a key role in strengthening the accuracy, quality and integrity of the University’s student data through critical compliance reporting, insightful analysis and continuous improvement. Working collaboratively across the University, you’ll help resolve data challenges, improve reporting processes and deliver smarter data solutions that support informed decision-making, student success and institutional performance.

- Full-time: 36.25 hours per week
- Based at the Townsville Bebegu Yumba campus
- Successful candidate must be based in Townsville or willing to relocate before commencement.
- HEWL 8: $111,960 - $128,567 per annum plus up to 17% superannuation.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As the Student Reporting Analyst, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, quality and integrity of the University's student data. Working at the intersection of data, reporting and continuous improvement, you'll deliver critical compliance reporting, provide valuable insights through data analysis, and help support informed decision-making across the University.

In this highly collaborative role, you'll partner with stakeholders across the institution to identify and resolve data issues, strengthen reporting processes, and drive improvements that enhance data quality and reduce future errors. You'll also contribute to the ongoing development of the University's reporting capabilities, working closely with service partners to deliver smarter, more effective data solutions that support student success and institutional performance.





WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE

You will bring strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in data analysis, reporting and data management. You will be confident interpreting complex requirements, working with large information systems and translating data into explicit, meaningful insights that support informed decision-making.

You will also be a collaborative and effective communicator, able to build productive relationships, provide specialist advice and work with stakeholders to resolve complex data and reporting issues. With a strong focus on accuracy, continuous improvement and quality outcomes, you will be comfortable managing competing priorities and meeting critical deadlines.
