The Role
Join the finance team as our Accounts Receivable Officer, taking ownership of end-to-end AR processes across multiple TEG entities. In this dynamic role, you will manage ledgers, drive process improvements, and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure operational efficiency and financial accuracy.
Requirements
Outcomes to Deliver
In this role, success looks like:
- Ledger & Debt Management: Efficiently manage Accounts Receivable ledgers across multiple entities while maintaining debtor levels strictly within established KPIs.
- Reconciliation & Processing: Accurately reconcile daily bank transactions against internal reports, processing and matching all deposits directly within the accounting system.
- Query & Discrepancy Resolution: Investigate balance discrepancies, follow up on outstanding amounts,
and serve as the main point of contact for internal and external AR queries.
- Month-End & Reporting: Assist with month-end close activities, process journal entries, and generate accurate ad-hoc invoices as required.
- Process Optimization: Identify and implement continuous improvements to streamline AR workflows and improve team efficiency.
- Team & Stakeholder Collaboration: Build strong collaborative relationships with internal partners and support the broader finance team in meeting key organizational targets.
Capabilities to Bring
You’ll thrive in this role if you bring:
- Technical Expertise: Hands-on experience managing end-to-end Accounts Receivable workflows, bank reconciliations, and complex ledger structures within a large-team environment.
- Systems Proficiency: Strong PC literacy and advanced MS Excel skills. Prior experience using TechnologyOne (Tech1) is highly regarded.
- Analytical Problem-Solving: Sharp eye for detail and accuracy, with a proven ability to investigate and resolve complex financial discrepancies confidently.
- Communication & Relationship Management: Clear, professional verbal and written communication skills to effectively handle queries and maintain positive stakeholder relationships.
- Self-Management & Teamwork: Highly organized and self-motivated with a proactive approach, thriving in a collaborative, fast-paced team setting.
