About the office

Student Administration delivers specialist administrative, regulatory and operational support across the University, maintaining the integrity of student records, processes and compliance requirements while supporting Faculties, Schools and other University departments

About the role

The Senior Enrolments & Student Progression Officer provides specialist support and advice to staff and students on student enrolment and progression matters. The position reports to the Senior Team Leader, Student Administration.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide advice and support on student enrolment and progression matters.





- Process a broad range of student applications and administrative requests across the student lifecycle.

- Respond to student enquiries accurately and in a timely manner.

- Maintain student records and ensure data integrity within the student management systems.

- Collaborate with stakeholders across the University to support the student journey.

- Contribute to continuous improvement of systems, processes, and student services.

Qualifications, skills & experience

- Relevant degree qualification, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

- Knowledge of student enrolment, progression processes within a higher education environment.

- Understanding of relevant legislation and regulatory requirements, including HESA, ESOS and CRICOS.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.

- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.

- Proven ability to manage high volumes of enquiries and provide accurate, timely and professional responses.

- Strong problem-solving skills, sound judgement and the ability to work independently in a rapid-paced environment.





- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and contribute to the continuous improvement of systems, processes and services.

- Well-developed computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and student management systems.
