Rise is seeking a HR Advisor to join our Human Resources team, partnering with leaders and employees across our Disability, Mental Health, Youth and Shared Services divisions. Working alongside another HR Advisor, you'll provide practical, people-focused advice and support across the full employee lifecycle.
This is a true generalist role that combines relationship building, problem solving and strategic thinking with hands-on operational HR support. You'll be the go-to person for managers seeking guidance on Awards, employment matters, performance management, workplace change, employee relations, policy interpretation and best practice people management. You'll also be involved in coaching new leaders, supporting organisational projects and identifying opportunities to improve how we work.
The position is full-time and offers a hybrid work arrangement, with a mix of working from home and across Rise locations including Helen's Place (Middle Swan) and Peter Anderton Centre (Forrestfield). You'll also occasionally visit other Rise sites, including our supported living homes as required. At Rise, we understand that life doesn't stop when work starts. We offer a flexible, family and life friendly workplace, a 9-day fortnight will be considered for the successful candidate, subject to team and operational requirements

Here at Rise, we nurture potential, but we do need you to have a few tricks up your sleeve including the following:
- Experience in a HR generalist role, providing advice and support across a range of people matters.
- Knowledge of employment legislation, Awards and policy interpretation.
- Solid organisational, administrative and computer skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the confidence to work with employees and leaders at all levels.
- Sound judgement, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Knowledge of the SCHADS Award (not essential but highly regarded)
