Join our Food & Beverage team at Gold Coast Airport and work in a vibrant, fully air-conditioned environment surrounded by travellers heading to destinations across Australia and around the world.

Avolta is looking for friendly, energetic and reliable Food & Beverage All-Rounders to join our team across six different outlets within the airport.

Our All-Rounders are exactly that — all-rounders . Depending on your experience, skills and the needs of the operation, you could be serving customers, making coffees, preparing food in the kitchen, helping with stock or supporting another one of our venues.

With six different outlets and a mix of Front of House and Back of House opportunities, there is plenty of variety and room to develop your skills.

What you'll be doing

Depending on your role and experience, your responsibilities may include:

- Welcoming and serving customers
- Taking orders and operating POS systems
- Preparing and serving coffees and other beverages
- Food service and order presentation
- Maintaining clean and well-presented customer areas
- Providing friendly and efficient customer service

Back of House

- Food preparation and basic cooking
- Supporting kitchen operations
- Preparing ingredients and products
- Receiving, rotating and restocking products
- Maintaining clean and organised kitchen and storage areas
- Dishwashing and general kitchen duties




- Following food safety, hygiene and cleaning procedures
- Assisting with stock management and reducing wastage

You may also have the opportunity to work across different outlets depending on operational requirements and your training.

- Committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety

Previous experience in hospitality, kitchens, fast food, cafés, restaurants, retail or customer service is an advantage, but attitude, reliability and willingness to learn are just as important to us.

Hours & availability

Gold Coast Airport operates 7 days a week, with shifts available between 3:00am and 10:00pm.

We have Full-Time and Part-Time positions available.

We are looking for team members with flexible availability across early mornings, days, evenings, weekends and public holidays.





Due to some of our early starts and late finishes, you will need to have reliable transport to and from Gold Coast Airport, including at times when public transport may be limited.

Successful applicants will also need to meet relevant airport security and access requirements.

Pay & conditions

Pay rates and employment conditions are in accordance with the applicable Award, including relevant penalty rates and allowances where applicable.
