The Site Supervisor oversees the day-to-day performance of AWS Labour Hire crews on client sites, ensuring work is carried out safely, efficiently and to client expectations. The role is the on-ground execution and safety-monitoring layer of the Labour Hire domain, conducting weekly safety audits, coordinating workforce needs with the Allocations Manager, and reporting site performance to the Business Development Manager, Labour Hire.

Key Responsibilities

1. Site Supervision

- Oversee day-to-day operations of Labour Hire crews on assigned client sites, ensuring work is carried out safely and in line with site requirements.
- Coordinate with client site contacts and the AWS Allocations Manager to maintain smooth workflow and resolve issues proactively.
- Promote a zero-incident culture and ensure adherence to health and safety regulations onsite.

2. Weekly Quality & Safety Audits

- Schedule and conduct a weekly Quality & Safety Audit for each live labour hire site, using the Quality & Safety Audit - Workforce (Non-Trade) form, on a different day each week.
- Verify PPE (hard hat, safety boots, hi-vis vest, safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection as relevant to the task), SWMS adherence for labour and hoist/mobile plant tasks, licence and induction verification (e.g. White Card), and housekeeping/site safety.
- Rectify deficiencies on the spot where possible; where escalation is required, report immediately to the Allocations Manager with details of the deficiency and corrective action taken.
- Complete the audit form digitally and upload it to the designated AWS folder structure within 24 hours, named site name + date.

3. Workforce Coordination

- Liaise with the Allocations Manager to confirm workers booked match the scope and timeline.
- Confirm worker induction and PPE requirements are met before site start.
- Monitor worker no-shows or lateness and report immediately to the Allocations Manager.

4. Timesheet Support

- Verify worker timesheets onsite (correct start/end times, job number, site name, client signature) before submission, supporting the Monday timesheet validation cycle run by the Allocations Manager and Payroll & Invoicing/Book Keeper.

5. Reporting

- Provide daily and weekly updates to the Business Development Manager, Labour Hire on site progress, workforce issues and safety matters.
- Maintain accurate records of site activities, incidents,



inspections and correspondence for audit purposes.

6. Brand Representation

- Represent AWS professionally on client sites, upholding the company's values and reputation.
- Handle client concerns diplomatically and elevate promptly where needed.

Qualifications & Skills

- 3+ years' experience in a site supervision or leading-hand role within labour hire, construction or related industries.
- Working knowledge of WHS regulations and site safety practices.
- Experience conducting or supporting safety audits and site inductions.
- Good communication skills; comfortable liaising with clients, workers and the Allocations Manager.

- Team-oriented; supports smooth day-to-day coordination between workers and office-based roles (Allocations Manager, Business Development Manager).

SECTION 2 - SOP / Workflow

1. Stay Up to Date with Site Scope & Requirements

- Before starting on a client site, review the scope of work, client expectations and any relevant site-specific requirements.
- Conduct a daily check-in: review updates from the Business Development Manager, Labour Hire, and report daily activities and site needs.

2. Confirm WHSE Requirements Before Starting Onsite

- Ensure relevant SWMS, risk assessments and site induction records are in place before workers commence.
- Confirm receipt and approval where required by the client; save copies for site records.

3. Organise and Verify Workforce Before Starting

- Liaise with the Allocations Manager to confirm approved workers are booked to match the scope and timeline.
- Confirm worker availability, induction status and PPE requirements before Day 1.

4. Conduct Weekly Quality & Safety Audit

- Use the Quality & Safety Audit - Workforce (Non-Trade) form on a different day each week for each live site.




- Rectify deficiencies on the spot where possible; elevate anything requiring further action to the Allocations Manager immediately.
- Upload the completed audit form to the AWS folder structure within 24 hours, named site name + date.

5. Support Timesheet Accuracy

- Check worker timesheets onsite for correct start/end times, job number, site name and client signature before the Monday cross-check against the roster.

Critical Responsibilities

- Only allow work within the approved scope; flag anything outside scope immediately to the Business Development Manager, Labour Hire.
- Proactively identify anything that may impact safety, program or client satisfaction, and raise it immediately.
- Provide daily updates and a weekly report to the Business Development Manager, Labour Hire.

SECTION 3 - Key Performance Indicators

Weekly audit reviewed by the Allocations Manager and reported to the Business Development Manager, Labour Hire. Monthly consolidated review conducted by the Business Development Manager, Labour Hire. Quarterly review with pros and cons reported back to the Site Supervisor.

1. Safety & Compliance

- Number of safety incidents or near misses reported (Target: 0).
- Completion of weekly Quality & Safety Audit forms and site inspections (Target: 100% completion, without exception).
- Compliance with site safety regulations and PPE enforcement (Target: 100% adherence).
- Audit forms uploaded within 24 hours of the audit (Target: 100%).

2. Workforce & Productivity

- Worker no-shows or late arrivals reported promptly (Target: reported within the hour).
- Percentage of shifts fully staffed as booked (Target: 100%, jointly with the Allocations Manager).
- Daily/weekly reports submitted on time (Target: 100% completion).

3. Quality Control

- Client or stakeholder complaints related to quality or conduct (Target: 0).
- Adherence to client site requirements and specifications (measured through inspections).

4. Timesheet & Compliance Support

- Timesheets verified onsite and free of errors ahead of Monday cross-check (Target: 100%).
- Worker licence/induction status verified before site start (Target: 100%).
- Timely updates to the Business Development Manager, Labour Hire (Target: 100% of required reports sent).
- Team morale and engagement (monitor feedback from workers).
- Resolution of site issues without escalation (Target: resolving 80% in office).
