You’ll make sure everyone is up in the morning and back to bed in the evenings, and supervise meal times to make sure everything is running smoothly. Much of the day you might be “on call”, ready to jump into action to support the centre and the students as necessary.

Student Support

Staff stories

Working as a Student Liaison Officer at Dusemond suited my study needs as I had a bit of time to myself in the day to study while being on call for any emergencies. I loved being part of the close-knit welfare team and having some involvement with every aspect of the centre – checking absences for academics, crowd control for the activities and helping with the madness of arrival day helped me develop a good mix of skills all at the same time
