Physiotherapist-Eastwood Allied Health Clinic

Eastwood Allied Health Clinic is a newly established multidisciplinary allied health clinic committed to delivering compassionate, high-quality and person-centred care to the local community.

We support older people, NDIS participants and community clients to improve their mobility, independence and quality of life through professional and coordinated allied health services.

As our clinic continues to grow, we are seeking a motivated and compassionate Physiotherapist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of a new clinic and work alongside a growing network of allied health professionals.

We are also interested in connecting with professionals from other allied health disciplines as we continue to expand our services.

About the Role

You will provide evidence-based physiotherapy services to clients in the clinic, in their homes and in community settings, depending on client needs and service arrangements.

You will work closely with clients, families, carers and other allied health professionals to achieve positive and coordinated client outcomes.

Many of our clients come from culturally diverse backgrounds, including Mandarin, Cantonese and Korean-speaking communities. Candidates who can communicate in one of these languages will be highly regarded.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct physiotherapy assessments and evaluate mobility, balance, pain and physical function

- Develop and deliver individualised, evidence-based treatment and rehabilitation plans

- Provide exercise programs,



mobility training, falls prevention and pain management interventions

- Support post-hospital recovery, reconditioning and functional independence

- Recommend mobility aids, assistive equipment and home-based strategies where appropriate

- Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as required

- Educate clients, families and carers to support safe mobility and ongoing rehabilitation

- Complete accurate clinical notes, reports and recommendations

- Collaborate with other allied health professionals to provide coordinated care

- Contribute to the growth and development of the clinic’s physiotherapy and allied health services

- Maintain professional, clinical and regulatory standards

Role Requirements

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy

- Current registration with AHPRA

- Strong clinical assessment and treatment-planning skills

- Excellent communication, interpersonal and clinical documentation skills

- Current First Aid and CPR certification, or willingness to obtain them

- Valid Australian driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle

- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team





- Commitment to person-centred and culturally appropriate care

- Full Australian working rights

The following will be highly regarded:

- Experience in aged care, NDIS, home care, rehabilitation or community health

- Mandarin, Cantonese or Korean language skills

- Experience working with older people or clients with complex support needs
