Overview

A relief management role for a well-supported motel requiring an experienced, professional, organized, friendly and customer-focused individual or couple to oversee the property.

Relief Management Couple is required to cover the period from 3 August to 30 September 2026 with the possibility of extension. Accommodation is included.

Responsibilities

- Oversee daily operations of the motel to ensure a smooth guest experience.
- Assist with housekeeping tasks: wash, dry and fold towels, bath mats, hand towels, rags and pillowcases on site; support stripping rooms, removing dirty linen, placing clean linen in rooms and removing rubbish.
- Carry out standard motel reception duties.
- Check and clean the pool daily; note that a professional pool technician attends weekly in Summer and every three weeks in the off-season.
- Maintain the BBQ area and all common areas in a clean,



tidy and welcoming condition.
- Oversee gardens/grounds maintained by a professional gardener and carry out minor maintenance repairs where practical.
- No food service (breakfasts or dinners) and no pets on site.

Qualifications and Experience

- Guestpoint FOS experience is required.
- Experience in motel/ accommodation management or supervisory roles is preferred.
- Strong organizational, frontline guest service and hands-on operational skills.
