Location & Duration

12‑month parental leave position, commencing 16th September 2026. Full time (80 hours per fortnight + versatile monthly ADO). Physiotherapy Grade2, Year1‑4 (VB1–VB4). Located at Caulfield Hospital.

Department

The Alfred Health Community Rehabilitation Program, situated at Caulfield Hospital, comprises Home Based, Centre Based, and Falls Clinic services. The program provides a comprehensive client‑centred rehabilitation service responsive to community needs.

Role

You will provide excellent client‑centred rehabilitation services to clients both in their homes and at our rehabilitation centre. The clinical caseload is varied, creating a fantastic opportunity to develop expertise in a broad range of clinical diagnoses.

- Successful candidate will access a range of professional development activities.

Qualifications

- Degree in Physiotherapy
- Current Registration with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia
- Eligibility for membership of the APA
- Current Victorian Driver's Licence (unrestricted)

Key Capabilities

- Minimum three years’ clinical experience in Physiotherapy
- Recent experience in rehabilitation or aged care
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in an interdisciplinary team
- Demonstrated understanding and commitment to principles of continuous quality improvement




- Demonstrated ability to evaluate and modify service delivery in accordance with evidence‑based practice
- Well‑developed communication and interpersonal skills to promote teamwork
- Strong theoretical knowledge base and experience in orthopaedics, neurology and gerontology
- Demonstrated participation in professional development relevant to the position
