Drawing on the stability of the core business and the knowledge of our global operations, you will play a pivotal role in the Service team providing service and maintenance to our customers in the QLD region. In this dynamic and fast‑paced role you will work on Daikin units in both residential and commercial premises to keep our customers connected to quality air conditioning.
Location & Travel
Based at our office in Murarrie, with travel to regional areas of QLD as required.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose HVAC system performance through testing and observation, following applicable service manuals.
- Generate repair cost estimates per Daikin procedure for customer approval.
- Repair or service units to ensure efficient operation, and recommend further action such as replacement of units or accessories when required.
- Liaise with dealers, end users and contractors to ensure satisfactory resolution of issues.
- Provide detailed explanations of service charges and work performed, if chargeable, and collect relevant payment.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Related Trade Certificate/Qualification.
- Valid Refrigerant Handling Licence.
- Current Driver’s Licence.
- Technical background in HVAC with experience in maintenance and repair (experience with Daikin products is highly desirable).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.
- Ability to work autonomously.
- Well‑developed problem‑solving, teamwork and communication skills.
- Open to frequent travel across QLD as required.
Pre‑Employment Requirements
- Pre‑employment Medical Assessment.
- National Police Clearance.
