The successful applicant will undertake a wide range of tasks. Typical duties include:

picking and packing orders, which involves collecting products and getting them ready for dispatch

checking incoming goods against invoices and inspecting them to ensure they are free of damage

unloading delivery trucks and unpacking the contents of packages

using warehousing machinery, such as forklifts, to lift, place and remove items on high shelves or racks

sorting items and placing them in the correct location on shelves or in bins

complying with safety regulations to ensure a protected work environment
