Storeperson / Parts & Inventory Coordinator

Mercer & Luck has been servicing Toowoomba and the Darling Downs for more than 60 years. We specialise in appliance repairs, warranty service and spare parts, working with many of Australia’s leading appliance brands.

We’re looking for an organised and reliable Storeperson/Parts & Inventory Coordinator to take responsibility for the day-to-day movement of parts and stock throughout our warehouse.

About the Role

This is a hands-on position that plays an important part in keeping our technicians, trade customers and spare parts operation running efficiently.

Your responsibilities will include:

Receiving, checking and receipting incoming inventory

Unpacking, labelling and correctly storing appliance parts

Allocating parts to individual technician jobs

Preparing and organising parts for technicians prior to scheduled work

Picking and preparing parts orders for trade customers

Managing dedicated trade and customer orders

Maintaining accurate stock locations and inventory records

Processing supplier returns, warranty returns and incorrectly supplied parts

Preparing returned goods for freight and tracking supplier credits

Identifying stock discrepancies and assisting with stocktakes

Liaising with the spare parts and service teams regarding incoming and outstanding parts

Keeping the warehouse, shelving and parts storage areas organised and safe

Assisting with incoming and outgoing freight and general warehouse duties

About You

We’re looking for someone who is organised, methodical and dependable. With a large number of parts moving through the business each day,



attention to detail is essential.

You’ll ideally have:

Previous warehousing, stores, inventory or parts experience

Strong organisational and time-management skills

Good computer and data-entry skills

Excellent attention to detail

The ability to accurately match parts to jobs and orders

Confidence dealing with suppliers, technicians and trade customers

The ability to work independently and as part of a busy team

A practical approach to keeping a warehouse organised

Experience with appliance parts, electrical parts, automotive parts, plumbing supplies or a similar technical parts environment would be highly regarded, but isn't essential.
