The Office of Melissa McIntosh MP is seeking a full time ongoing Media Adviser based in Penrith NSW or Canberra ACT. You will be the main point of contact for engagement with journalists and lead the Shadow Minister’s media and communications strategy.
You will write media releases, speeches, posts, statements, op-eds and newsletters; brief the Shadow Minister for interviews; and build relationships with media and stakeholders across diverse communities. Travel and irregular hours may apply.
