At selectability, we are dedicated to empowering communities and enhancing individual well-being. We are seeking passionate support coordinators to join our dynamic team. Based in Mount Isa, Doomadgee, Mornington Island, and Normanton, these roles focus on delivering life-changing support programs to those in need.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- collaborating with recipients, families, and service providers to develop and implement tailored support plans
- monitoring and evaluating recipients progress, ensuring their goals are being met
- maintaining accurate and up-to-date records and documentation
- facilitating access to local community services and resources
- coordinating and attending meetings with stakeholders to discuss recipient progress and support plans
- developing and maintaining strong relationships with community organisations and service providers
- working with recipients to strengthen their ability to coordinate their own supports to live their best life
- supporting and empowering recipients to make their own choices as to how they want to lead their lives

About you
To be considered for this rewarding role you will have:
- previous experience in a support coordinator role or similar (desirable)
- excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, including presentation skills
- a demonstrated high level of attention to detail with a consistent approach
- a demonstrated ability to prioritise conflicting priorities as required
- ability to work under minimal supervision with the capacity to exercise initiative in the application of work processes and procedures and establish objectives and outcomes
- a demonstrated ability to show empathy and compassion
Role Requirements
- certificate IV in Mental Health (desirable)
- out of hours work may be required from time to time
- travel to selectability sites and external locations may be required in this role
- current nationally recognised first aid and CPR certificates (or ability to obtain within the first month of employment)
- a Positive Notice Working with Children (blue card) (or the ability to obtain prior to commencing)
- a current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or the ability or obtain prior to commencement)
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module "Quality, Safety & You" completion certificate (or the ability to obtain prior to commencement)
- a current minimum P1 "C" class Queensland drivers licence
- roadworthy vehicle with comprehensive insurance
About the offer
The support coordinator roles offer an opportunity to work in Mount Isa, Doomadgee, Mornington Island, or Normanton, with full-time, part-time, or casual employment options available. This is a fixed-term offer until 30 June 2027.
